Ikeda Bonsamnang - clarinettist

got his first music education at the School of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh. He continued his studies at State Musical College/Ukraine and the Birmingham Conservatoire/England. In addition he studied at the Elizabeth University of Music, Japan and obtained a Master Degree. Ikeda Bonsamnang played first clarinet at the Asean-Japan Symphony Orchestra.

Ram Daravong – clarinettist

studied at the Gnessin Musical College in Moscow (clarinet and conducting). Since decades he is the head of the orchestra team of Royal University of Fine Arts. Ram Daravong is also the technical team leader and conductor of the ANYO (Angkor Youth Orchestra)

 
     
Nam Joo Lee - vocalist

received a diploma in vocal study from Sungshim Woman's University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. She was a member of several church choirs – performing as soloist and participated performances at many recitals in her homeland. Nam Joo Lee held a extraordinary song recital at the International Music Festival Phnom Penh in 2010

 
     
Tara Mar - cellist

from Montreal, Canada, has played cello in ensembles in Canada, The Netherlands, and the South Pacific. Since 2004, she has performed in numerous cross-cultural collaborations with musicians, dancers, choirs and poets based in Fiji. She looks forward to teaching and performing in Cambodia.

Sarah Monz - pianist

started to play classical piano at the age of 7. In the 1990s, while studying in the United States, she took to jazz piano and in the following years performed in several international projects and festivals, from classical music to big band jazz and ethnic African music. From 2001 to 2005, Sarah studied piano at FMW Frankfurt, Germany with Mike Schoenmehl and Michael Demmerle. Since 2005, she is a practicing doctor of medicine.

 
     
Nguyen My Huong - violinist

violinist began to play violin with the age of 4. She studied at the National Music Conservatory Hanoi/Vietnam and extended her studies at the University of Music in Graz. As a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra and she took part many international concert tours. My Huong is now a lecturer at the Academy of Music and plays regularly at the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra.
 
     
Stephan Rahn - pianist

Performances, have taken him to many countries in Europe, North and South America, North Africa, East Asia and South East Asia. He recieved scholarships of the "Ansbacher Bachwochen" and the "Bayreuther Festspiele". Stephan Rahn is a member of the board of the ART+Foundation. He lectures at the University of Music "Hanns Eisler" Berlin.

 
     
Katharina Roth - pianist

started to play the piano in the age of 8. Since 2003 she also studied the organ and began here studies in composition. Katharina obtained several prices. All during her young carrier she continues to take master classes by international teachers for piano,organ and composition. She studies now with Prof. Dieter Mack at the University of Music in Luebeck.

 
     
Steve Retallick - cellist

Steve Retallick studied Cello at the Guildhall School of Music in London. He was a prize winner in many competitions for Chamber music repertoire and finish his complete his studies in 1986 with a certificate of Advanced Solo Studies. His orchestra experience where the BBC Symphony Orchestra and London Sinfonia. In SEA at  the Hong Kong Philharmonic and the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. Since 1998 Steve Retallick is serving as a principal cellist at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and is a regular member of the MPO Chamber Music Series at the Kuala Lumpur Philharmonic Hall.  


 
     
Stephan Stadtfeld – trumpet player

started to play the trumpet in the age of 7. He studied at the University of Music in Saarbruecken and Karlsruhe. In 2006 Stephan obtained a scholarship at the orchestra academy at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He plays now in many leading Symphony and Opera Orchestras in Europe.Stephan Stadtfeld has a wide range of solo repertoire for trumpet.

Matthias Witzel – recorder player

started to play recorder at the age of 8 and violin at the age of 12. Before he began studying recorder with Prof. G.Heyens and music therapy in Aachen, Germany, he studied theology. In the 1980s he studied psychology and psychotherapy. Between 2005 and 2008 he worked in Phnom Penh as a counselor for the German Civil Peace Service. Presently he is practicing as a clinical psychologist in Switzerland (www.matthias-witzel.com).
