Him Sophy
Him Sophy obtained a scholarship grant to study at the Music college of Moscow Conservatory and in 1988, Sophy passed the exams and obtained a diploma in Master of Fine Arts in composition (M.A) and a diploma in Doctor of Musical Arts in composition. At present, Him Sophy lectures as a professor the Royal Academy of Cambodia and the Royal University of Fine Arts. He is a leading Cambodian composer

Dieter Mack
The German composer and ethnomusicologist Dieter Mack studied composition with Klaus Huber and Brian Ferneyhough. He is lecturing now at the University of Music in Lübeck. Additionally he is a international guest lecturer for example at the Central Conservatory of Music Beijing. Prof. Dieter Mack participates in various committees such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Goethe Institute.

Nguyen My Huong - violinist
violinist began to play violin with the age of 4. She studied at the National Music Conservatory Hanoi/Vietnam and extended her studies at the University of Music in Graz. As a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra and she took part many international concert tours. My Huong is now a lecturer at the Academy of Music and plays regularly at the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra.

Carin Levine - flute
As a soloist, Carin Levine performs in major international music festivals and has won numerous awards and prizes, including the prestigious Kranichstein Musikpreis for the Interpretation of Contemporary Music. She collaborate extensively with many leading contemporary composers. Carin Levine is the author of "Contemporary Music for Flute", a series of books on flute techniques.

Anna-Theresa Steckel - violinist
Anna-Theresa Steckel is an established violinist on the international stage. She studied with Antje Weithaas at the University of Music "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin. As a member of the Kant String-Quartet she has played throughout Europe and Asia. She continues here studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. |

Stephan Rahn - pianist
German pianist Stephan Rahn studied at the University of Music in Cologne and the University of Music "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin. In addition he studied Theory and Harpsicord as well as Sacred Music. His performances, have taken him to four continents. Stephan Rahn (since 1996) has curated "Kontrapunkte", an established chamber music series for contemporary music in Germany. .

Rong Sereyvann - pianist
Rong Sereyvann started to play the piano in the age of 16 and joined the Royal University of Fine Arts. His major and most relevant teacher is Dr. Him Sophy. He went to the USA for the Opera production "Where Elephant Weep" where he gained international experiences. In addition, Sereyvann improved his piano-technique and musical understanding in master classes with Stephan Rahn. Sereyvann obtained his Bachelor Degree for Music this year.

Etienne Chenevier - pianist
Etienne Chenevier is a pianist, who studied with Mme Auberr-Crouzet (composer and teacher at the Université Musicale Internationale de Paris). His repertoire extends from Bach to Messiaen. During his international career he has performed numerous solo recitals, as well as chamber music with international artists. Etienne Chenevier lives in Singapore where he also performs, as with the Singapore Symphony Chamber Music series. |

So Sronos - pianist
So Sronos got his first music education at the School of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh. He got a scholarship for Japan and extended his studies at the "Elizabeth University of Music" in Hiroshima. Sronos obtained a Master Degree in major Piano. Since 1999 he runs his own music school with a focus on piano teaching. So Sronos contributes to many international music events in Phnom Penh.

The Angkor Youth Orchestra (ANYO)
The Angkor Youth Orchestra (ANYO) is trained and conducted by Rom Daravong and the teachers of the Royal University of Fine Arts. The Youth Orchestra is also supported by a international music teacher network through the ARTplus Foundation and the Goethe Institut. ANYO are regular guests at the International Music Festival, and keep surprising audiences with their enthusiastic performances.

Ram Daravong - clarinettist
Ram Daravong studied clarinet and conducting at the " Gnessin Musical College" in Moscow clarinet and conducting. He is the Head of the Secondary School of Music at the Royal University of Fine Arts and leads a chamber music ensemble. He has since the 1990th performed regularly at the Royal Palace for various official events. Ram Daravong is also the team leader of the Angkor Youth Orchestra.

Marineth Y – vocalist
Inspired by her older sister, Marineth Y started her vocal education with Buth Kanya at the Royal University of Fine Arts in 1999. Aside from studying Cambodian traditional vocal music, such as Pinpeat, Mahoree and Pleng Kar, her musical ideas focus also music composed in the Western tradition. Marineth continues to study and perform in several ensembles and as a soloist.pic

Bella Voce
Bella Voce was formed in 2000 in Phnom Penh and ever since it has been bringing together people of all nationalities who love singing a variety of musical styles. Today, Bella Voce has grown as a community choir, even though its members are frequently change. They perform charity concerts twice a year to support marginalized Cambodian children.

Mari Jinnai –vocalist
Mari Jinnai is from Osaka, Japan. She received a diploma in vocal study from the Tokyo College of Music and later studied at L'Écôle Normale de Musique in Paris. In 1998, Mari started as vocal teacher at the Faculty of Music of the Royal University of Fine Arts in Cambodia. She has conducted the Bella Voce choir since 2000. Mari Jinnai also gives recitals in Cambodia and the across the South East Asia region.
